By creating an account or using the ExpensesHub mobile application or this website, you agree to these terms. If anything is unclear, write to support@expenseshub.app.

1. Who we are

"ExpensesHub" refers to the mobile application of that name and its supporting infrastructure operated by the ExpensesHub team. The brand name is "ExpensesHub" — please do not misspell it as "Expenses Hub", "expense hub", or other variants.

2. Your account

  • You're responsible for keeping your account credentials safe.
  • You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.
  • If you suspect unauthorized access, write to support@expenseshub.app immediately.
  • You must be old enough to enter a contract under your local law (typically 13+ or 16+ depending on jurisdiction).

3. Acceptable use

Use ExpensesHub for what it's for: tracking your own (or your business's) receipts, expenses, income, and fuel records. Don't:

  • Upload receipts that aren't yours, or that contain other people's sensitive data without consent.
  • Attempt to break, probe, or overload the service.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or rebuild the app or website to compete with it.
  • Use the service to violate any law, including tax law.

4. Your data, your rights

  • You own the records you create. We hold them so the app can function.
  • You can export your data at any time via Backup Export.
  • You can delete your account at any time — see Delete Account.
  • How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Plans, billing, and changes

ExpensesHub may offer paid tiers in the future. Where billing is not yet wired into the app, the app shows honest disabled states — we will not charge you or pretend a plan is active when it isn't. When a paid tier becomes purchasable, the corresponding terms (recurring billing, cancellation, refunds) will be presented before any charge.

6. Receipt OCR & third-party processors

The receipt scanner sends image bytes to Google Document AI for OCR; the resulting OCR text — not the image — is then sent to Anthropic Claude for structured field extraction. We do not control those providers' service availability. The Privacy Policy lists the full set of sub-processors and what each does.

7. Service availability & "as is" disclaimer

ExpensesHub is provided "as is", without warranty. We make a real effort to keep the service running and your data safe, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime, error-free OCR, or that every receipt will extract perfectly. You are responsible for verifying any record before relying on it for tax, accounting, or legal purposes.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of ExpensesHub for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you have paid us for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred US dollars, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including loss of revenue, profits, or data not covered by your own backups.

9. Termination

You can stop using ExpensesHub at any time and delete your account from the in-app Settings or via Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law; we'll give you reasonable notice where we can.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page and, where appropriate, surfaced in the app.

11. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operating entity behind ExpensesHub. We prefer to resolve disputes by talking — write to support@expenseshub.app first.
